Happy 10th Logan!!!

For Logan's birthday we threw him a Percy Jackson birthday party.  We gave the boys camp half blood t-shirts and then had them run through a series of challenges.  We did a pancake bar for lunch and then went to see Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters.  The boys loved it and it really was a simple party for me to throw.
The boys did an arrow shooting contest and as I was taking pictures I looked down and saw Olivia right there in the middle of the group playing dolls. Hilarious!!

I love this 10 year old boy of mine.  He is stubborn, kind, loving and quick witted.  He is such a great kid! We are so glad that he is ours!!!

Pictures

I just wanted to get some of these pictures from my phone onto the blog. A month or two ago Henry ran into our coffee table and cut open his chin. Of course we weren't here when it happened. But he was really good about getting stitches once he was numbed.

Porter had a sledding mishap by face planting off of the sled.

I turned 29 again;) I had a great birthday and went to dinner and a movie with Brandon.

Porter wrote this and I thought it was the cutest thing ever.  It says: "During my zoo project I was kind of struggling but I made it, but it was not easy.  I work hard and I made it there.  I worked hard to finish it. Man it took a lot of work to do it.  Everybody can do anything if they believe."

Push ups off of the couch.

Nate and Jami moved back to Utah. On their way back they stopped here and played for a couple of days.

Sprout stretch:)

Laser tag when Holly was here.
My little mermaid. Love this beautiful girl.

Our stake did a combined young women in excellence. It was swesome. Each girl had a sillhouette with a heart about personal progress.

This boy loves his trains. And I love this stage. He runs around saying "choo-choo!"

Sledding fun!!

Christmas traditions

We decided to start a new family tradition of Lebanon horse carriage parade. It was a lot of fun but freezing cold!! The kids had a great time.

Thanksgiving 2013

Fall/Halloween 2013

We went with our "old" ward and friends from there to the annual pumpkin picking wagon ride.  Like always it was a lot of fun.  Brandon braved the wagon ride by himself since I didn't want to throw my back out again.  It's super bumpy in the wagon.

Aunt Holly came for a visit and helped us carve pumpkins.  She also brought with her some great news that her and Landon are expecting a baby. So excited for them!!  We went and played laser tag with the boys while she was here too and had lots of fun with her.

Henry made the cutest little pirate for Halloween.  He wasn't too sure about the costume thing until he started to get candy for it.  Then he was totally fine wearing "funny" clothes.

Olivia my little poser was bat girl.  She loved the pink!

Logan was a Grimm Reaper and Porter was a Ninja.  They ran around the neighborhood with their friends this year.  We told them to only go around once.  I think they hit up the houses with the full size candy bars 2-3 times. Little stinkers!!

Another update!!!

Olivia Finally started school! She was so excited.  With her preschool they kind of slowly worked the kids in.  She didn't need to be slowly worked in, she was just excited to go.  She's made friends and loves to go every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

We took the summer off of gymnastics and started back up this fall.  Olivia is once again cartwheeling, summersaulting and "strong arming" everywhere we go.

Logan broke his arm at school in gym class.  He was a little excited about the attention that came with it.  It quickly wore off after the cast started itching him like crazy.  He only had to wear it for about 4 weeks, which was good since it was about to crawl off of his arm from being so gross.
Olivia is my little poser.  She loves to have her picture taken and always has to have a pose to go with it.

Logan and Porter's school did a read a thon this year to raise money for their school.  They both set really high goals and were able to meet them.  Logan was the top reader in his school and Porter was 3rd.  It was a lot of fun for them to read so much and earn a lot of money for it.

Henry also likes to read.  He loves "Llama, Llama misses mama" and "Old McDonald"  He loves trains and wants to wear a Thomas shirt every day.  When I put his coat on him or his seatbelt he cries at some point because then he can't see his "choo-choo" anymore.  He doesn't talk a ton but he makes a lot of noises.  When he sees a car he'll say, "Vroom Vroom" if he sees a dog he'll say, "woof-woof", a train, "choo-choo", and Brandon "DADDY!!!" He sleeps with like 10 stuff animals all surrounding him and if any of them are missing he knows it.  He's a rough and tumble boy and we honestly could not love him more.

The kids had their primary program.  Olivia tried to kiss and hold hands with "the love of her life" Ezra.  Logan and Porter are now old enough that they don't do too many silly things.  But as always it was a sweet program and it's always one of my favorite Sundays.
