This week...

To start this post here are some cute pictures of my baby. She is so much fun! I can't wait to go to Utah and let our families get to know her. One of her new quirks is screeching at you and then when you look at her she'll say, "Hi!" She is now climbing onto everything, the kitchen tables, the couches, pushing chairs over to her high chair and getting in it. Oh she is o'so busy, but so much fun, our little tornado!

This week was Porter's last week of school. On Tuesday we went to the zoo. It was cold and rainy but was a lot of fun. The animals were all out, which is something I don't think I've ever seen. Porter was in heaven leading me and Olivia around and hanging out with his friends and teachers. On Thursday he came home saying over and over, "I'm really going to miss Mrs. Mentag and she's really going to miss me!" and "I'm never going to see my friends again!" But by today he was recovered:) This preschool experience was so much fun. He had the best teachers, and has learned so much. There was a lot of girl drama this year, with who he loved and all that. But hopefully by kindergarten he'll learn girls have cooties:)
Speaking of girls the other day Porter asked me this question, "mom, since Savannah is 10 now, does she have a boyfriend? Cause when you're 10 you can have a boyfriend."
Me: "No Savannah doesn't have a boyfriend and no when you're 10 you cannot have a girlfriend! Maybe when you're 30!
I love that boy he makes me laugh!

Mother's day and other stuff

We had a great mothers day weekend. The Thursday and Friday before the boys each had mother's day tea's at there school. I was presented with beautiful drawings of me, cute poems, and a cook book. I forgot my camera at Porter's tea party but below is a picture of Logan and I at his school. Both boys were so excited to have me there, it always kind of shocks me that my boys love having me at school with them. They haven't reached the embarrassment stage yet I guess:)

On Mothers day Logan woke up with a horrible, asthmatic cough. So we did breathing treatments on him and let him go to sacrament so he could sing. Then Brandon brought him and Olivia home. He got better by Monday but by then Porter and Olivia had fevers and coughs and runny noses. Olivia was so tired on one of the days and I was putting stuff into the crock pot for dinner. She wrapped around my legs and fell fast asleep. It was pretty funny!
Porter is a little care taker, seriously some day some girl is going to be really lucky. He didn't feel super great so he made himself a little sick station which included the leapster, games, books, water bottles, and his "new" favorite stuffed animal "biscuit." He just wanted to have the things he "needed" while laying in bed:)
Logan brought this paper home from school and Brandon and I thought it was pretty funny. it says his wishes would be, $900.00, A pokemon ball with a pokemon in it, and the biggest slide ever!

Olivia idolizes her big brothers. She thinks they are the coolest people in the world. So I've said before I have a Pete and a Repeat, well now we have another repeat:)

Finding Diamonds

The other day while at the park, Porter was riding his bike and then randomly got off and started searching around the trees where he was. I asked him what he was doing and he simply said, "I'm looking for diamonds mom!" He then went on to tell me that "dad found one and I want to find one." So he searched and searched and would not get back on his bike until he found what he was looking for. After a few minutes he came running to me "I found something!" In his hand was a wad of white chewed up gum, yuck! So after some sanitizing we moved on to the play ground and then again he started searching with no luck of finding diamonds. Fast forward to a week later while at JoAnns and he instantly spotted a sparkle on the floor. He picked it up lightning quick and exclaimed, "I found a diamond mom!" He held on tight to that diamond showing and telling everyone we saw at the store what he found. He then told the clerk what he found and proudly said, "I don't even have to pay for it!" I explained where he found it, a little embarrassed, and she said that was fine. So all of his searching for a diamond paid off. While walking out of the store he told me that my diamonds probably weren't real like his diamond:)
