It only took 5 days!

Olivia finally decided to hold her baby brother.  She's been very nervous/fascinated with him since he was born.  Every day she's gotten a little bit closer to him and today she finally said she wanted to hold him.

Introducing Henry Thorpe Bishop

On Tuesday, January 24th I went to the hosptial to be induced.  I was hooked up to the machines and everything by 7 am.  I got my epidural around 9:30 am, and it was the best epidural I've had with any delivery.  I fell asleep and the nurses came back in a few hours later and checked me and I was at an 8.  About 5 minutes later I knew we needed to push.  The doctor was called and barely got set up.  I pushed twice and out he came.  It was the best labor and delivery I've had.  Brandon and I instantly fell in love with this little man.

The kids came and saw me everyday at the hospital.  They loved coming to see him and holding him.

 One of my favorite pictures.
A cute little hat from Aunt Whitney on our way home from the hospital.

First Snow

It finally snowed in Ohio.  Olivia and Porter wanted to go out and play in it so bad.  Porter got himself all bundled up and started on the making of snow balls for them to throw at each other.  Olivia took some convincing that snow pants were not the end of the world.  As you can tell from these pictures she wasn't too sure about the snow. Then Porter showed her the snow balls and she was in heaven.
My kids wanted a picture together.  Aren't they cute? Olivia insists on wearing Porter's Detroit Tigers scarf and putting her headband in herself.  Beautiful!

The many faces of a cub scout!

Doesn't he just look handsome in his cub scout uniform?!  I love it! I still don't really have a clue about this scouting adventure we're on.  But I do know Logan loves it, and I love seeing him dressed up in his uniform and being excited about Tuesday night activities.

Happy Birthday Livey May!!

My sweet baby girl turned 3 on the 10th.  I can't believe how big she is getting and opinionated!!! To say she's our princess would be an understatement.  We all adore her.  She pretty much has all of us wrapped around her little finger;)  I asked her a couple of questions for her birthday and here they are.
1. What is your favorite color?  "PINK"
2. What is your favorite song?  "Child of God"
3. What is your favorite food? "Sandwich"
4. What is your favorite treat?  She held up a Reeses that she was eating.
5. What is your favorite movie? "Sirella"  Cinderella
6. What do you want to be when you grow up? "PINK?!?"
7. What do you love best? "Diapers" She refuses to be potty trained.
8. What's your favorite drink? Juice
9. What's your favorite toy?  "Princess Toy"
For the last couple of months whenever we've gone to the store she's wanted to look at this cake.  She would talk about it and she adored it.  So we got it for her.  If you notice as soon as we brought it home little fingers quickly made there way into it.
She had to wait most of the day to open presents so Brandon could be home.  She was patient, but when the time came she ripped into them and didn't want anyone to help her.  She loved everything she recieved.

Can you see Olivia??  Once we got this little house set up she pretty much played in it the rest of the day and put all of her birthday presents in there to play with as well.
Olivia is at a really fun age.  She loves to watch the, "Sound of Music", play with her princesses, and have make believe going on around her at all times.
She's come to have this fear of a "Kitty" and thinks that it's going to come and get her.  She'll wake up in the middle of the night and come running into our room saying the Kitty is going to get her.  When I'm getting ready in the morning she comes in my room and shuts the door so the Kitty won't come and get her.  We have no idea where this fear came from.  Hopefully the fear will end soon.
She loves baby brother, at least the baby brother that has stayed in my tummy thus far.  She hugs my belly and kisses it.  She thinks any noise my belly makes is the baby talking to her.  She wants to name the baby "TT" and "Jilli" after her 2 favorite friends.
We love this little girl and are so happy that she's in our family.
