We're still alive...

We have a house full of boxes and are ready to move in a couple of days. We've been super busy these last few weeks finishing school, celebrations and saying goodbyes. We are VERY sad to be leaving our friends here. They are what make Michigan worth being here. We have truly been blessed. I feel like certain people have come into my life here right when I needed them and their friendship. My kids have grown up here so much. Porter was only 2 when we moved here, crazy I know! But I know that Ohio will have good things in store for our family as well and we feel blessed to be able to go there as well.

Having said that here's what we have been doing lately. For Father's Day our friends had a pot luck dinner at their house with games, food, and good conversation. The dad's all had to do a an obstacle race and the winner's (the top 3) won some "fancy" cologne and candy. Brandon came in 3rd and braved through his kids touching his face with whip cream:)

The boys and I made little penpal kits to give to their friends so they can keep in touch. They were a hit and I hope the actually get used:)

My cute kids in front of our home here in Michigan. If you look closely Olivia has short hair. She found the scissors when I was in the shower and cut off her pig tails. Little stinker, good thing she's cute!

We have another one!

We have another Student of the Month! Porter was so excited and we are so proud of him!

This last weekend (over Memorial Day) we drove down to Ohio to close on our house and clean up the dust. We also wanted to take our boys down, so that they could feel more excited about moving. The trip was a total success!
We went to church there and were very (happily) surprised to see how big the ward actually was. The kids came out of church thrilled that they had made new friends and were very sad that they have to wait 4 more weeks to permanently live there:)

The kids all loved running around the house and playing outside. We weeded the yard and met some of the neighbors. It was really hard to come back to Michigan. We are ready to move to Ohio and become Ohioans.
