It's official, introducing Doctor Bishop

Watch out everyone Brandon is now officially a doctor. We had such a busy week this last week. We got into Des Moines on Wednesday night and went to dinner with our friends the Blacks. Right after we ordered Porter said he didn't feel good and Brandon took him to the toilet and he let loose. So Brandon and porter went back to the hotel and Logan and I hurried and finished up our dinners. Later that night Brandon went and checked on our storage unit to see if all was well and thankfully it was. The next day we had a luncheon with our old ward, it was so much fun to see everyone from our old ward. Everyone's kids had grown up so much, but I guess time does that.
That night we went to dinner at a church with all of Brandon's class. This is a picture of Logan and his future wife, Annie. We can only hope.

Friday night we got to get all dressed up and went to a fancy dinner provided by the school. It was very nice to have a little break from our kids. Staying in a hotel with them for 4 days drives everyone a little crazy. These are our good friends Lisa Yorgason, Becky Black, and Jen Belanger.

Saturday was the big graduation day and Porter woke up throwing up again. We tried to get him to go, but he threw up when we got on the elevator. So Denise, Brandon's mom was so wonderful to stay behind and watch Porter. I felt horrible about it.

Here's Brandon with his good friends from Des Moines University. Micah Tovey, Andrew Black, and Kyle Yorgason. It was really hard to say good bye to all of them because we don't really know when we'll get to see each other again. We've all helped each other through the hard times and shared some good laughs along the way. Logan was super excited in the beginning of the graduation when all the graduates walked in. Then as the time went on he got more and more bored. After they announced Brandon's name I took him out. He looked at me and said, "Mom, don't make me go back in there okay!"
We arrived at our new home here in Michigan on Sunday. Everything seemed to be going pretty good until everyone showered. The ceiling underneath the bathroom started cracking and leaking and bubbling. It was so nice to call someone else to worry about it, and not think we had to figure it out. Then Logan woke up yesterday morning with a puffy eye and a swollen ear. The eye seems to have gotten better, but the ear isn't so great. Our insurance here doesn't kick in until July 1st, so what to do. Luckily Brandon knows a few doctors he can call. Well we're still geting settled in and all in all it been a great adventure.
