Seriously So Blessed :)

Last night was my baby shower and I seriously feel so blessed. A friend of mine in my ward, Jenny is due a week after me so it was a double shower for the both of us and it was so much fun to have someone to to share the "spotlight" with, since that's not my favorite position. I always worry about what if no one shows up? But almost everyone came that was invited and it was so nice to be around these amazing women.
We had the shower at an Italian restaurant, ate dinner, chatted, played a game and opened presents. It was so much fun. One of the many reasons I'm so glad to be a member of the church is no matter where I go there are awesome women who are so welcoming and I almost instantly have friends. I would hate to move somewhere and have to rely on just meeting people at random, I would not have many friends. I had a great time.

Here's the loot of goodies that I recieved. Everything was so much fun to open and see. I'm excited to get some pink in our laundry and not have all be blues, greens, and browns.
Baby news, there is none. I'm not measuring big on the ultra sound so the due date remains the same. My doctor is convinced that she can get me into labor at 39 weeks, I'm not as confident. The earliest she can induce is like 40.5 weeks. So sometime beginning - mid January we'll have a baby.
***I just wanted to post this little story about Logan as well. Brandon came home from work last night very frustrated with work. Logan was asking why he had such a bad day and Brandon said that someone yelled at him. In Logan's sweet advice he said, "Dad, if you just treat people the way that you wanted to be treated they'll be nicer to you." I love it! I love when we get words of wisdom from our small children who are sometimes so wise.

oh Kim I miss you. I wish that I could have been there for the baby shower. I'm glad that you have so many great friends there. It is always fun to open baby gifts. . . it's like an early Christmas, right?

It looks like you got some fun stuff! I am also so grateful for the church, I don't think I would of survived moving out her without it. I had a 2 week old when I moved out here. Once the ward found out we were here they had a nice shower and dinner for me. It was a great way to get to know people. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
