Spring Break

For Spring Break this year we decided to hop in our car and drive over 1600 miles to go to Utah.  What can I say, I've been a little homesick:)  We also decided to bless Henry there between conference sessions on Sunday.  It was a great trip!

 One of the days we were there we went up to Salt Lake with my mom and Brandon's parents.  We went to the new City Creek Center which was SUPER crowded.  Brandon, Logan and Olivia were able to meet Elder Nelson there as well which was really cool. 

 Henry wasn't too happy during his blessing.  He started crying a few minutes into it so Brandon ended the blessing quickly.  As soon as it was over Henry burped and went to sleep, go figure!  It was a great day though with lots of family around. That's one of the hardest things about living far away is not having family around.

 The kids became fascinated with Grandma and Papa's Chick's.  They talked about them all the time and about how cute they were.

 My mom did her annual Easter egg hunt and this year it was made extra specail.  Sky decided to use this as an opportunity to propose to Mandy, yay!  It was so fun to be there for it and to meet Mandy.  She's such a cute girl and we're really excited she'll be part of our family.

 While we were in Salt Lake we walked around Temple Square.  Such a beautiful area.  We went up to the top of the Church Administration building and looked out over the city.  Porter had a hard time staying out of the water fountains that were everywhere.

We got to play with cousins all around.  Evan and Whitney made the trip up for the weekend and we were able to get to know Chad better and meet Paisley for the first time.  Aunt Holly was also around to play with kids and visit.  I really do have the best inlaws.

My kids loved playing with cousins, and with Uncle Sky.  We really are lucky to have such great family members.

It was a fun trip.  The drive was another story but once we were there it was non stop fun!  We love Utah
