I feel like I'm constantly trying to play catch up here. Last night our stake had a tri-stake Modest Prom. Since I'm in Young Women's now Brandon and I got to be the chaperones to take some of the youth up. It was so much fun!! Brandon didn't really want to go and he ended up having so much fun. The girls all looked beautiful!! Brandon became the guy that would walk around to the boys and tell them to find a girl to dance with or he would find one for them. It was hilarious!! One boy who had been trying to get this girls attention, Brandon walked up and tapped the girl on the shoulder and said, "Hi what's your name?" Then said to the boy, "Meet...." And the boy said to Brandon, "Thank you!!" We danced, we laughed a lot and had a great night!!
Porter has been playing soccer this Spring and is having a lot of fun with it. He's been doing extra soccer camps and things and it's been fun to see his skills improve. Porter is fast, and with this extra camp he's gaining more control of what he's doing with the ball. He now can play really good defense and offense. As a mom I LOVE watching him play. I might be a little to vocal about it. He's got a cute little team that plays pretty well together.
For Mother's Day Porter filled out this paper for me it says, "My mom is as nice as, ten times nicer then anybody. My mom is like a Rose. My mom is as helpful as, Dad. My mom is like a, Awesome cook. My mom is as lovable as, anybody. My mom is like, a heart. My mom is as smart as, 200 million cats." I love this boy!!
Logan had his last piano recital the beginning of the month. He's going to be starting up piano with another teacher at the end of June. He's doing really well with his songs and he gets it. It's not his favorite thing, but he's trying.
Our Minor League baseball team has a Mormon Night every year. This year we went and I was able to participate in the 3rd inning entertainment. It was actually a lot of fun and my kids thought I was super cool because I was out on the field.
My little Henry Boy after a much needed haircut. We are counting down the days until nursery, 2 more months. He is a very BUSY boy. But when we aren't at church he is so much fun. He loves his trains and will sit and line them up. He's just at a really fun age.
My beautiful Young Women, and the 2 boys who were brave enough to come have appetizers with us before driving up to Prom. It was a lot of fun and the boys were really good sports.
