Out of the mouth of Logan

The other night for family night we went and rode bikes. We didn't get home until late and as we walked in the door I told the boys to go and get their jammies on, brush their teeth, go potty and get to bed. Logan said Mom, "Aren't we going to read stories?"
Me: "Not tonight. It's too late."
Logan: "Not even scriptures?"
Me: "Nope, we need to get to bed."
Logan: "HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO LEARN THE GOSPEL THEN?"
Me: Speechless

Oh the things kids say and do to delay bedtime. He sure knows how to make you feel guilty.

Emma and Justice have both said exactly the same thing to me when I have told them we are going to skip it because it was too late. Funny kids!

That is hilarious and precious at the same time! Can't wait till Daniel is verbal enough to remind us to read scriptures!
