Party Like You're 2!

On Monday was our beautiful little girls 2nd birthday. We spent the day playing with balloons while we waited for our boys to get home. That evening we opened presents, ate pizza, and had friends over for cake and ice cream. It was simple and fun and she loved it. Grandma Bishop gave Olivia a box full of dress ups. She loved it! She wanted to put every dress on and every pair of princess shoes on. There is a purple tutu that she wore every day this week, pretty much the entire day. She also got a pack of princess dolls that she absolutely loves, all except Aerial. She kindly sets her to the side and will play with the other 6 princesses. If she has to share with a friend Aerial is the first one to be given away. Kind of funny!

Saturday we had a combined birthday party with "Ti-Ti" whose birthday is the first week of february. We just had 3 little girls from nursery come over and we just played. We had boxes they could play with, balloons, and bubbles. We had all the kids decorate little minnie mouse ears. Then had cupcakes and called it good. It was cute seeing these two little girls who are such good friends have a specail day together. It's moments like this that make me sad though because in a year they probably won't remember eachother. Maybe they'll come to Ohio too:)

As far as I could tell Olivia had a great birthday. She is full of 2 year old sweet and sass. She has learned how to say "No!" and loves to say it. She pulls all sorts of funny expressions with her cute little face. She loves her bear still and Minnie. She is obsessed with her dolls being "poopie" right now and is constantly changing their diapers. (In the first collage that's what she's doing with her little princess doll in the top middle.) She loves shoes and if she sees a pair she has to try them on. She is busy! She's constantly getting food out of the fridge or cupboards. When she plays she dumps everything out of the bucket or bag and usually only plays for a minute or two and then moves on to the next thing. She loves to "help" empty the dishwasher, or unfold, I mean fold clothes with me.
Olivia is truly a JOY to have in our family. Brandon and I get a kick out of her and love having a little girl come and soften these boys in our family. Her brothers adore her and love to play with her and take care of her. We're so glad she's in our family.
