The easy life ends tomorrow

Tomorrow is D-day for Brandon. No more sleeping in, taking naps and relaxing. He starts orientation 5:30 am and then he officially starts work on monday. It's been very nice having him around. When we first found out that we were pregnant we thought it was such horrible timing with moving and everything. Now looking back it has been so nice to be able to lay down when I need to and have help with the cleaning, cooking and entertaining the boys. (So despite what he tells people, he's a really great man.) Now I'm feeling a lot better, for the most part and feel like I can handle the daily grind.
One of our last outings we decided to go find one of the many light houses here in Michigan. If we would have researched this better we would have realized that it would have been a great place to camp at. It was fun to walk through and throw rocks and sticks into the water.

Here we are on the steps that go all the way to the top of the light house. Just looking up made me dizzy, I'm not a fan of heights. Logan was very disappointed he couldn't go to the top, but if you saw how narrow and high the stairs went it was a good thing we couldn't.
Those little dots next to the light house are my boys. I had to stand pretty far back to get the whole light house in the picture.
Relaxing and watching the water for about .5 seconds.
Porter in his Ta-dah state of mind. He had a rough go while we were there. He fell into the water, and off the play ground. He looked pretty beat up by the end of the trip.
Brandon took this picture it turned out really well.
Here's Brandon with his "high school" humor, he saw the name of this town and had to have a picture with it. See if you get it.
Right before we left Utah we took family pictures with Brandon's family. His mom sent me out the disk to order some pictures with. I thought for the most part the pictures turned out really cute. Here's one of my favorites of the family. Next year will have to get a new one, there'll be two additions to the group:)

Good luck with the daily grind!!! You are a real trooper! Good luck Brandon!! Your trip to the lighthouse looks like so much fun! It's so good you got to play a little while before Brandon is gone all the time!

Love the 'quiet moment' for .5 seconds.... classic!
