I've seen this on a few of my friends' blogs, so I thought I would play. It's been kind of fun to reminisce about my childhood. Hope you find it fun, too!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I (or Brandon) had together. It doesn't matter if you knew us a little or a lot, anything you remember, good or bad but be nice!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.
Keep it going. ENJOY :)

Hey..I remember when I was at something over at my Aunt Paula's house and your sister said that you were living in Des Moines and that Brandon was in school out there. For some reason, I didn't know you as well as Summer because we would see her a lot at Brick Oven pizza. I remember calling you and you were so helpful to me when we were moving out there. I also remember Brandon being there to help us move when it was like 110 degrees outside and both he and John were sweating like crazy. I remember being so glad that he was there to help. I also remember around Christmas time that year, you stopped by and left me a candy bar, it meant so much to me even though you may not have realized it at the time. It was a hard time then because a lot of the people who we were friends with acted weird after John got sick, so I was glad to know that you cared about us. I also remember when you came to my baby shower. That was so nice of you. I also remember....I am sorry to keep going on and on.....but I always remember how good your family was to my Grandma Berrett and how sweet your mom was to her. I know that she always appreciated her and she spoke so highly of you and your family. That meant a ton to me and also to my mom.
Wow, lots of memories to choose from. Family reunions to Beaver and the Festival of the American West, goofing around at Aunt Bonnie's viewing, sleepovers, 24th of July...good times! And yes, when I saw you had commented, I knew exactly what you were going to say! Didn't I fall off the bed?!?
My first memory of you is when you moved to Des Moines just a couple of weeks after us with your little baby Logan. I remember thinking yea- another studen family! It was so fun to visit teach you and talk about our husbands being in school . . . and to get together at the park.
Ok I might post again later because I feel like there are so many memories!! Even though I really haven't known you for that long!! :) Lets see...I remember meeting you for the first time a Huhut, thinking "I hope they think I am cool, I hope they think I am cool" and feeling so young because I was the only one with out a baby...even though I am older..haha! I remember all those nights we just hung out at Becky's house, and the nights we scrapbooked at your house and we would put the kids to bed at your house so we could stay longer. I remember when I promised I would watch Logan for you because you had a doctors appointment and Annie was up all night the night before I thought I would hear you knock on the door but I didn't...I still feel really bad about that. I remember all those early saturday mornings when we would go yard saling together! I remember all the bbq's we had at your house...we should of counted how many we had, I am sure it is a lot! I remember when you first told me about Twilight...I was sitting on your couch..and I thought..."Kim read vampire books...thats weird." HAHAAHAHAAA!!! I remember the yard sale at your house. I remember Logans Curious George Bday party (that was Annies first bday party she was ever invited to). I will stop there for now because this is getting to long!! We miss you guys so much! Take good care of those cute boys and the baby in your belly!
one of my first memories of you was when Evan and I doubled with you and Brandon to that Peter Breinholt concert. That was fun. But I think one of my fav memories had to be that night that you and I went to get pedicures at the mall from the crazy chinese people and then went to hairspray and sang along with all the songs. I miss you so much, and I am SO HAPPY we are sisters! :)
This is a really random one, but one day when we lived in our old house (just south of BYU Campus), we were sure that we saw Brandon walk by (and he even said hi to us). He was going to campus and had a backpack and we couldn't figure out what he was doing or why he would be there (you guys lived in Iowa at the time), but both Tim and I were convinced it was him. It was just a quick hi and then he kept walking.
I feel like Lisa, there are so many memories in the last 4 years that I can hardly name them. There were the late night talks, scrapbooking nights, bar-b-ques, Olive Garden lunches, the Jordan Creek Mall play area days, afternoons at the park, exercising afternoons & early mornings, annual Iowa State Fair days, Nauvoo trips, and so much more. I think one of my favorite memories was when both of our families went to Moline Illinois to John Deere world headquarters. I think that we all enjoyed the huge tractors, especially the boys. Then sharing that huge hotel room in Nauvoo was a blast. Remember how we all got dressed in our swimming suits and went down to the pool to swim, when we got there we found that it had been closed because a little kid had pooped in the pool. It ended up that the kids thought that was kind of funny instead of crying about it. We also miss you a lot. Just think maybe in a couple of years we can plan extravagant cruises together, foreign trips, weekend getaways, family camping or site seeing outings, ect. When we moved to Iowa I never would have imagined that we would make lifelong friends in our few years there, but we did. You guys are great, and we love you!
I remember when you loved wearing my "My Little Pony" glow in the dark pajamas and when i would get scared you would tell me that the glow (which was very dim by the way) would make it lighter so I wouldn't be scared. Weird memory. You probably remember it differently.
I think one of my first memories of you was when we had a service auction in relief society and you auctioned off a homemade abc scrabook. I remember it was one of the most popular things on the table. I know I bit but didn't have enough points!
I was glad to get to know you a little better after that and play dates a pampered chef parties. I do miss alot about Des Moines but mostly my friends I made.
So here are my memories for you who aren't playing along or don't have blogs.
Lisa- I would have to say all of those memories too. I remember being pregnant with Porter and convinced I was having a girl and buying girl clothes at the yard sales. The whole "clique" problem that started our 2nd year I think. Were we that cool?? You and Kyle taught us about It came to pass and we would play till late at night because Annie was a baby and would just sleep in her car seat. I also remember being able to see you and your kids during this last year when you would drive through Utah, I was so glad that you guys all could come to the bbq just before graduation. Lot's of good memories and hopefully more to come.
Becky- I remember jumping at the chance to watch Kimball for you when I heard you were looking for someone to watch him. I remember hanging out at your house and you always apologizing for it being messy, which was never the case. Once you guys moved to Utah we were able to see you guys more, still not as much as I wanted but more than before. Porter's blessing and your family came but Andrew didn't dare stand in the cirlce, we still feel bad about that. The easter egg hunt outside when it was like 20 degrees and windy. Lot's of fun and like Lisa hopefully many more memories to come.
Summer Rae- We have way too many memories, playing baby, staying up every christmas eve to see what we were getting. Piggy back rides down the hall that ended in you collapsing and cutting my knee. Flipping over each other on the bed and you promising me that you could do it and you falling right on top of me. You watching Logan for me when I went back to work. Nauvoo, harrassing Jeff about his intentions with you. Lot's of fun things.
Seriously... how could I pick? I have known Brandon since we were kindergarteners!!!! I just love every moment I have ever spent with you guys. There's no one else we could be "our true selves" with except you guys!!
I think my best memory of Brandon was when we went sledding behing the four wheeler and I fell off, but Larry just kept going despite Brandon yelling at him to stop. Also there were a lot of good talks at lake powell and hikes. Thanks for accepting me as family it means a lot to me. Thanks to your whole family to being there for us when you didn't have to.
Katie
My favorite memory of you guys is probably when we first moved to Des Moines. Danny told me that he knew someone from BYU that would be in our ward. You guys were so nice to show us around Des Moines that first weekend. And then you continued to invite us to all kinds of stuff. It was nice to have friends right off in a new place. Thank you.
