Another trophy, a visit from momma P. and I won...

Yep, here we go again. Porter finally was able to get his trophy and there was peace in the land once again. He played his last soccer game on soccer and actually scored a goal. Once he realized what he had done it seemed the idea of soccer finally kicked in and he wanted to be the one to score every goal no matter which way his team was going. If the ball wasn't going the way he needed it to he would just gently push it into the goal. It was a lot of fun to watch. We're definately glad this soccer season is over, but will probably be excited for it again next year. Logan and Porter will then be able to play on the same team and we'll only have one game once a week, yay!
My mom was able to come out here and see us for a few days this week. It was so much fun to see her and hang out. We drove over to Chicago to see my aunt and uncle who are mission presidents there. Logan kept calling them "the missionaries" and thought it was so cool he was able to sleep in a bed that missionaries sleep in. We went to an arboretum there and let the kids run around. It was such a pretty drive and it was nice to show my mom that not all of Michigan is ghetto.

We also were able to have Chicago Pizza and I think we shocked my aunt and uncle by Logan and Porter being able to eat a whole slice of pizza with out much effort. What can I say, they're Brandon's sons.
My mom and I spent the day shopping on saturday and she gets all of the kids jammies for Halloween. So here she is with my boys in their Halloween jammies from grandma. They loved them because they have a bat on them and they glow in the dark. It's so nice to have family come out and see us. We're learning to love Michigan but family is the biggest thing we miss from Utah. Thanks for coming out here mom and spending time with us, we love you.Lastly look what I won. How cute are these?? I found them on the crafting chicks blog, which I try to steal ideas from. They were having a drawing for this cute Halloween bag and I actually won. The girl who gave them away makes these and nursing covers and baby slings. Check out her blog to see, jwsew.blogspot.com
