Trunk-or-Treat

Last night was our wards Halloween party and Trunk-or-Treat. It was so much fun. The boys were so excited and wanted to wear their costumes all day long. Our ward went all out, doing a little carnival, haunted house, skit and dinner. Then we did the trunk-or-treating. Logan was Buzz light year and was so excited when he found out that his lights on his costume really turned on. Porter was a dragon, but he was a nice dragon and not mean, (until he didn't get his way).
While the parents went to go get their cars ready the kids paraded all around the gym. Of course both of my boys when walking by the food table would grab some kind of treat and eat it as fast as they could, so I wouldn't take it away. So the car ride home Porter talked at hyper speed the ENTIRE way home. Luckily he did go to bed once we got home.

Killing time while we waited for dad to be ready to go with us. BYU had like a minute left that of course lasted like 1o minutes. Luckily they won and looked a little better than when they played TCU.I saw this fun thing in Family fun magazine. We put magnets on the back of a bunch of nuts and bolts and other little knick knacks. Then while I made dinner they made "robot" faces on some cans of soup and had a ball. Yay for family fun's ideas.

Fun pictures and I love the costumes. Why was your trunk-or-treat so early?

Fun costumes! Sounds like your kids had a ball.

Love the robot face idea too!
