Yesterday we went with our good friend's the Arrhenius' and went raspberry picking. It turned out to be beautiful weather, and since we were the first picker's of the day we didn't have to dig too hard to find the berries. The kids had a lot of fun picking and taste-testing the raspberries. They quickly became side-tracked and found that running up and down the rows was more fun.

I decided to try my hand at making Jam. Porter thought that it tasted delicious and licked the whole bowl and spoon. I wish I'd taken a picture.

Random picture of my cute kids hanging out together.

Here are the cute kids with their loot of raspberries. My boys love hanging out with these girls, and they're so good to keep my boys in line. They get along great and have had so much fun together.

My pile of raspberries. They're so good.

Porter running up and down the row. Such a busy, cute guy.

Here's my sewing projects. I've been making headbands just for fun. The other thing holds a notebook with a crayon/chalk holder on the inside and chalk fabric on the other side. This will probably be a Christmas present. I'm making another one so both boys will have one.

I love all the pictures they are adorable! Cute headbands! Wish I was crafty in that way...
I am SO jealous of the raspberries! They don't grow well here in Laramie...too cold and too high of elevation. Raspberry jam is my favorite! I'm glad you got to make some. It looks like you did a water bath rather than freezer jam. Am I right?
And, I want to know where you got your pattern for the headbands. They are adorable! I want to try to make some too. Notice the word "try."
Love those head band patterns! Looks like they were having a great time...yummy home made jam, you can't beat that!
Looks like you've been having a great summer, where did you pick those raspberries? I think I need to go!
I love both the raspberries and the cute stuff you made!
