Today was FINALLY Logan's turn to go to "preschool". (Long story short, here in lovely Michigan the deadline is Dec. 1st for kindergarten. We struggled with whether or not to send him. We looked into preschools and they were all outrageously expensive or we couldn't get in because of his age. I found a group at the YMCA that's called mom's time out preschool. They have swimming lessons for a 1/2 hour, do circle time, learn letters, and other fun stuff, and it is sooo affordable we were sold.)
Anyways, he was so excited to be able to go and to do something without his brother tagging along. Logan loves Porter dearly but everyone needs a break now and then right? He was so excited that he woke up extra early this morning, lucky me. The night before he helped get his back pack all ready and his new outfit picked out, this was more me. He wanted to wear his shirt that had a 4 on it because he is 4.
When I wanted to get some pictures of him this morning he was mad because I made him comb his hair. He told me, "I don't want to look handsome mom." Eventually he started to laugh because he was pulling "angry" faces in all of his pictures.When I picked him up he said preschool was great and his teachers told him that they were so proud of him.

I'm so glad that you found the YMCA thing. I think that is a great solution to the problem. I think he looks handsome even if he doesn't want to.
Sorry Logan but you look handsome whether you like it or not...also with combed hair or not!! :) Man that program at the YMCA sounds like a lot of fun!! I have heard the YMCA here is kinda scary...too bad huh? I love the superman back pack!! Man what a big kid!! Can't you stop your boys from growing so fast...before we know they will be in college...scary!!
I can just see him saying that he doesn't want to "look handsome mom". That kid cracks me up:)

Soccer and Preschool.... and PRESCHOOL WITH SWIMMING LESSONS??!!!! Holy crap! I want to go! Your kids are adorable, and it's amazing how much Logan and Warren are alike with their "looking handsome" ideas!! HA! I think you'll be happy with your choice between kindergarten and preschool!
