Where's Brandon???

Since Brandon gets so little "blog time" I thought I would dedicate this post to him. Brandon just came off of being on call for 19 days straight. This time around was hard on him and us. A lot of it was day call and night call together. Logan told me the other night that it wasn't a good day because daddy wasn't home to play with them. So it's been nice having a saturday where he's been able to be home the entire day. On Wednesday he starts Internal Medicine and it's not going to be a fun month. He gets a day off once a week and has to work a 30 hour shift in there somewhere every week. Luckily it only lasts a month and he doesn't have to do this forever. He's loving what he does, his patients seem to love him, and it still shocks him at how common gun shot wounds to the feet are. Whether it be in the patients history or what he's treating them for, it seems that everyone has been shot at least once. He could tell you lot's of gorry stories about them if you want, just ask. Another thing that he see's a lot of are Obama lover's. They sale t-shirts at the hospital that he works at and EVERYONE has one. He likes to stir the pot of course and ask people about what they like about him. Most people say something like, "ah, you're republican I can't even talk to you." Or they don't really know what they like about him, just his suavee talking skills. Once in a while he'll get a good conversation out of someone, and he likes those good ol' political debates with strangers.


I did this 6 quirks about me a while ago and thought it would be fun to do it about Brandon. So here goes.

6 Quirks of Brandon

1. Brandon has "pregnancy cravings" as I call them. He eats some interesting combinations of foods like, Roast beef and ranch, plain old refried beans and whatever else he can combine with leftovers out of the fridge.

2. He is obsessed with dishes in the sink can't be left in the sink they have to be done. (lucky me) The house could be on fire and he would make sure the sink was clear of dishes, then check on the kids and me. (just kiding, kind of).

3. He likes to have a different meal every night for dinner for a month straight. He likes variety.

4. He will try any kind of food at least once. It's kind of a hobby of his.

5. There isn't anything he doesn't like to eat. Out of all of the weird things that he has eaten in his life there isn't anything that he would say he hated.

6. Hates to have his face touched by anybody. Logan loves to tease him and rub his hands all over his face, it drives Brandon crazy and Logan thinks it's hilarious.
